About the Founder

Sarah Little is a journalist and the founder of More to Her Story (MTHS).

Sarah has traveled to more than 40 countries spanning five continents, interviewing young women and girls. Having grown up partly in the Middle East, Sarah left university at age 20 to travel to Jordan to document the stories of Syrian refugee women and girls. From there, Sarah traveled for two years, meeting with young women in Africa, The Middle East, Europe, and North America. Everywhere she went, girls shared with her their experiences, their challenges, and their dreams for a different life.

Through these stories and relationships, MTHS was born. Today, it serves as an outlet for girls and women around the world to share their stories, voices, and ideas for a better future. MTHS has grown quickly and expanded into a full-scale newsroom.

In addition to leading MTHS, Sarah contributes to international media outlets, writing about the lives and ideas of women and girls. She also hosts More to Her Story: The Podcast, ranked in the top 10% of global podcasts, interviewing experts, journalists, and thought leaders. Sarah is a Women for Women International Champion and the youngest fellow at Babson College’s Institute for Social Innovation. She holds an MA in International Journalism from City, University of London.
